Danny Bartlett is a national Key Opinion Leader and Consultant Pharmacist operating at the intersection of medicines optimisation, prescribing policy, workforce education, and healthcare strategy. As Clinical Lead for the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Primary Care School (NHS England), he holds regional oversight of a £3.16m training budget, directing multi-professional education across three Integrated Care Boards serving a combined population of 3.5 million.
A former elected Board Member of the English Pharmacy Board (Royal Pharmaceutical Society, 2023–2026) and current Panel Member for the General Pharmaceutical Council's national accreditation process, Danny contributes at the highest levels of professional governance. He is also Deputy Course Lead and Senior Lecturer in Pharmacist Independent Prescribing at the University of Brighton, and co-author of a forthcoming book on medicines management in primary care (Class Professional, June 2026).
